Purpose

The purpose of the School Prayer Community is to provide a respectful and welcoming space for students to come together in prayer, reflection, and spiritual growth. Our community aims to promote kindness, unity, and well-being within the school.

2. Inclusivity and Respect

All students are welcome to participate regardless of their background or beliefs. Everyone is expected to show respect for different faiths, traditions, and personal views. Discrimination, bullying, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

3. Participation

Participation in the Prayer Community is completely voluntary. No student is pressured to join or take part in any activity. Students may choose to observe quietly at any time.

4. Conduct Expectations

All members must:

  • Show respect to leaders, speakers, and fellow students

  • Use appropriate language and behavior

  • Follow all school rules during prayer activities

  • Maintain a calm and peaceful environment

Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the session.

5. Leadership and Supervision

All Prayer Community meetings and activities will be supervised by a staff member approved by the school. Student leaders are expected to model positive behavior and responsibility.

6. Safety

Student safety is a priority. All activities must follow school safety guidelines. No outside guests may attend without prior approval from school administration.

7. Use of School Space and Technology

Prayer activities may only take place in school-approved spaces and times. Any use of technology (music, presentations, recordings) must follow school policies.

8. Communication

Events and announcements related to the Prayer Community must be approved by school staff before being shared on the school website, PA system, or social media.

9. Consequences

Failure to follow this policy or school rules may result in temporary or permanent removal from the Prayer Community, in accordance with school discipline procedures.

10. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually by school administration to ensure it continues to support a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.
